The Directorate officials of Social Welfare conducted a comprehensive tour for inspection on November 8, 2023. The focus of the inspection involved an interactive session with Anganwadi Workers and Helpers, coupled with a thorough examination of Anganwadi Centres at Bhumnyu village, the convergent building, and the new office building.

            The inspection allowed officials to gain valuable insights into the functioning and conditions of these vital community centers.

            Subsequently, on November 9, 2023, an induction training program for untrained Anganwadi Workers took place at the VDB Hall in Longleng. The training, facilitated by State Officers and officials from the Longleng and Tamlu ICDS Project within the Social Welfare department, aimed to equip the workers with essential skills and knowledge.
