Advisor to the CM & Chairman, Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) Abu Metha, virtually inaugurated Solar Street Light at Sovima and Chumoukedima, and Sulabh Public Toilet Complex at District Hospital, Dimapur on 28 Nov 2023 at Rhododendron Hall Chumoukedima.

Special Guest, Abu Metha while addressing the  inaugural function thank the CSR, NABARD and HDFC for sponsoring the projects and successfully implementing it and further appeal to the corporate friends to come forward to  support  and partner  with the people of the state and assured  transparency and diligent in any further CSR projects in the state.

Metha also assured the gathering that such projects in future will reach the people who needed it the most but reminded that whether big or small projects it may be, without the support of the leaders and villagers the projects won't be successful.

IDAN also signed MoU with the SBI for "Nagaland Tourism Connect Scheme" it is a "Premium taxi scheme" where beneficiary gets 20% subsidies from the state government and encourage the youths to avail the opportunities for tourist taxis specially during the Hornbill Festival where tourist taxis from outside the state reap the benefits of tourist visit in the state.

Short speeches were also delivered by Deputy Director DH&FW, N.D Rajkhowa Technical Advisor Sulabh International, Tiakala Ao GM NABARD, Lanuakum Jamir Branch head HDFC, Sebastian Zumvu VCC Sovima, and Setevikho Tsukru Chumoukedima Village.

Earlier the program began with dedicatory prayer by Zhau Sanchu, Pastor CRC Sovima Village and closing Remark by I. Changsang, NCS Under Secretary IDAN. The program was chaired by Reny Wilfred, IAS Joint Secretary, IDAN.
