On December 1, 2023, the 111 Bn BSF marked the 59th BSF Raising Day with a joyous celebration at Satakha, Zunheboto District.

 

The festivities kicked off with a cultural program that showcased the rich heritage of the force. Ex-CAPF personnel, families of BSF martyrs, and Civil Dignitaries were invited to partake in the event. The entire Battalion, brimming with enthusiasm, actively participated.

 

Sanjay Tandan, Commandant, 111 Bn BSF, extended a warm welcome to all present guests, providing a historical perspective on the formation of the Border Security Force. He emphasized the pivotal role played by the force and its substantial contribution to all aspects of National Security since its inception.

 

The gathering learned about the BSF's formidable potential, supported by resolute action and determination. The force has rightfully earned the status of a dependable warrior and remains committed to its motto, "Jeevan Paryant Kartavya" - Duty Unto Death.
