            Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio released the book "His Majesty's Headhunters", written by Mmhonlumo Kikon at WWII Museum, Kisama on 2nd December 2023. 

            Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio congratulating Kikon on his book stated that writing is about sharing one's knowledge. He said that the book will be a knowledge repository for the generations to come. He said that a book about the British colonial Nagas written by a local author will give a different perception unlike the ones written by others and underlined the importance of documenting the Naga's side of the story.

            Rio also shared his own British-Japanese stories passed on to him by his parents and relatives. 

            Author, Mmhonlumo Kikon giving a background on the book stated that the book is about the people and stories from the Naga's perspective. He also highlighted that it is on the period of the British occupation starting from 1832. He also shed a light on the impact on modern Nagaland due to the British colonisation and the Japanese invasion.

            Advisor to CM and Chairman IDAN, Abu Metha chaired the programme.
