A four-day training for women on Improved Piggery and Poultry Farming, organised by the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, commenced at Chozuba, Phek on 10th July 2024.

The inaugural & keynote address was delivered by Dr. Pusazono Chusi, Deputy Director, Assistant Sector Officer, Women Welfare Development, AH & Vet Services, Nagaland. Dr. Rosou Pohena, VAS, Pfutsero spoke on Women Empowerment through improved Piggery & Poultry Farming at the programme. 

Dr. Esther Krocha, Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer and i/c of CVO Phek chaired the programme, while Dr. Khrusato Keyho, Farm Manager, CBF Phek delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was sponsored by the National Commission for Women, New Delhi.
