S. Kiusumew Yimchunger, MLA & Advisor Home Guard & Civil Defence, Fire and Emergency Services, Relief & Rehabilitation Launched the Sampoornata Abhiyan for Aspirational Block Khongsa at GHS hall, Salomi under Pungro on 5th July 2024.

In his address, the Advisor emphasized on the need for community led participation for all developmental projects including the Sampoornata Abhiyan vision.

Proposing the welcome address, the Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer briefed on the purpose of the Aspirational Block program.

Short speeches were delivered by Dr. Shelley Dahiya, Young Professional & State Nodal and Ngayaipam A. Shimray, State Young Professional Nagaland.

Public representatives from KAPO and Village Council Chairman, Salomi were also present and had the opportunity to highlight the pressing issues in Khongsa Block.

Awards were presented to the best performers among Nurses, AWW, and ASHA workers of the Block.

To solidify the commitment to the Campaign the attendees took a pledge, administered by DC, Kiphire. Sukanya, ABF Khongsa chaired the program, while vote of thanks was delivered by Yithachu Thursday, EAC Pungro & Nodal Officer ABF.

The event was followed by inauguration of exhibition stalls by the MLA & Advisor.
