In the recent concluded ULB election to the Nuiland Town Council, out of 9 wards the BJP won 6 and independent candidate won 3 seats. The Deputy Commissioner, Niuland Sarah S. Jamir administered the oath to the newly elected Town Council Members on 4th July 2024 at DC’s conference hall, Niuland.
The member unanimously elected Kakheka Zhimomi as the Chairman and Visheli Zhimo as the Vice Chairman to the Niuland Town Council.
