The monthly meeting of the Mon District Planning & Development Board for the month of July was held under the chairmanship Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB, Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, at DC’s Conference Hall Mon, on 12th July 2024. 

             Newly appointed chairman of DPDB Mon, MLA Manpon Konyak stated that it is a great privilege for him to be appointed Chairman of the Mon District Planning & Development Board and an opportunity for him to serve the people even more.  He called upon the members to work together as a team, with good advices and agendas, emphasizing more on the development and social issues for the welfare of the people.

The house received the application for society registration of Mopong Hongkong Union, Shamnyu Ward, Mon Town. After proper scrutiny of all necessary papers and also based on the society’ presentation of their activities, it decided to recommend to the government for registration of society.

District Planning Officer & Member Secretary, DPDB Mon, V. Aron Sema, highlighted the approval of LADP 2024-2025 constituency wise. The Agriculture department presented their departmental activities through a PowerPoint presentation.

The toppers of the HSLC & HSSLC 2024 under Mon District were also felicitated during the meeting.
