Along with the rest of the country, the 75th Republic Day was celebrated on 26th January 2024 at public ground Mangkolemba, Mokokchung with Advisor Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, A. Pangjung Jamir as the Chief Guest.  After unfurling the National flag and taking the Rashtriya salute the Chief Guest delivered the Republic day speech

Presentation of National Anthem and special number by Youth ministry Mangkolemba and inauguration of exhibition stalls by the Chief Guest were the highlights of the day's programme.
