MLA, Er. Picto unfurled the National Flag and took the Rashtriya salute from the parade contingents on the occasion of 75th Republic Day celebration held at GHSS Ground, Jalukie Town, Peren on 26th January 2024.

The parade contingents that took part in the March Past were: GHSS Jalukie, St. Xavier College, Jalukie and JNV Jalukie.

Other highlights of the day were cultural display by Jalukie Students’ Union, Pyramid Dance by St. Xavier College, Jalukie, Desh Hamara by JNV Students and an exhibition football match between St. Xavier College and GHSS Jalukie. The special guest also inaugurated the exhibition stalls put up by various departments and SHGs.

The event concluded with prize distribution and beating of retreat by DEF, Jalukie.
