The 75th Republic Day was celebrated at Tizit, Mon on 26th January 2024 with Advisor, Treasuries & Accounts, Art & Culture, Konngam Konyak unfurling the National Flag and taking Rashtriya Salute from 3 parade contingents led by Inspector, Aguak Konyak.  Highlights of the celebration includes National Anthem by Holy Angels' School Tizit, traditional folk dance by Zangkham Union Tizit Town, special number by Neongo W Konyak and Opening of exhibition stalls put up by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development under Nagaland State Rural livelihood Mission.

The day was also marked by hoisting of National Flag in all government Offices, educational and private institutions
