Celebration of the 75th Republic Day was held at Bhandari HQ at the local ground, Bhandari, Wokha on 26th January 2024.

Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, Advisor, School Education & SCERT unfurled the National Flag and took salute from the parade contingents comprised of the 7th NAP, 7th NAP school, Government  Higher Secondary School and Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Bhandari led by platoon commander, N. Ringamlung ABI 7th NAP.

The chief guest was accompanied by Achumbemo Kikon MLA and inaugurated the exhibition stalls put up by governmental departments and civil societies.

After the function the chief guest and the MLA visited GHSS, Bhandari and interacted with the teaching staff and students.

Highlight of the programme included presentation of folk songs and special songs, football exhibition match between Bhandari officers & civil societies.

The AH & Veterinary department also conducted anti rabies vaccination of dogs and other domestic animals besides distribution of minerals.
