The 75th Republic Day was celebrated at Local Ground, Mon with Minister Housing & Mechanical Engineering P. Bashangmongba Chang as the special guest.

He unfurled the National Flag and took the Rashtriya Salute from the eight parade continents, viz. 6th NAP BN Tizit; DEF Mon; VG; Ex – Servicemen; NCC Wangkhao Govt College; Bharat Scout and Guides Don Bosco School; Govt Higher Secondary School (D) and 6th NAP BN pipe Band.

Other highlight of day included special number by Yangman Konyak, duet by Atzing K Naga, ABC & Wangchem Konyak, patriotic dance by Mon Vale College Students, GHSS, Mon, and Culture Dance by Women Cultural Troupe, Mopong Hongkong Union, Mon Town.
