Shamator-Chessore road has been cleared till Y. Anner Village as of 18th July 2024 in the aftermath of the incessant rain with the intervention of Advisor Youth Resources & Sports, Keoshu Yimchunger and Public Works Department led by Executive Engineer, (Roads & Bridges) Tuensang, Er. Thongpang Chongshen and SDO (R&B) Shamator, Er. T. Azhiba Yimchunger as the spot officer.
The Y. Anner Village Council led by Chairman, Y. Rikhum expressed their appreciation to the Executive Engineer, (Roads & Bridges) for his timeless effort and taking serious note in restoring the roads within a short period time. They also thanked the SDO (R&B) Shamator for his service. The Village Council also hoped that the concerned departments and the Government will continue to look into plight of the people the monsoon season. It also expressed their gratitude to the local MLA and Advisor, Keoshu Yimchunger for his concern towards the people, especially during natural disaster.
Currently, an excavator has been engaged in clearing of road within the Y. Anner village jurisdiction with the support of NPWD.
