A meeting of the District Tuberculosis (TB) forum, Longleng was held at DC conference hall on 18th July 2024.

Deputy Commissioner and chairman District Health Society Longleng, Dharam Raj, IAS in his short speech congratulated DTO and his team for the activities taken up by NTEP in the district, He encourage all the NGOs and Wards representative who attended the meeting to give proper awareness and disseminate the information to the people in the far flung villagers to avail the service from the DOT center. The DC also requested everyone to be aware that the medicines provided are free of cost, and once the patients starts the medicines they have to complete the full course. 

Dr. Temsusashi DTO, Longleng who chaired the program also proposed the key note address, and gave a brief introduction on how TB is manifested and treated. He also spoke on the policy of the Government in implementing a national strategic plan to end Tuberculosis by 2025 which was launched by Prime minister Narendra Modi in March 2018.

Short speech were delivered by Tongang STS (NTEP), Meribeni Khuvung PMDT-HIV Co-ordinator (NTEP), Longleng and Lita DIS, Longleng.
