The Second Phase of short-term Skill Development Training on Tailoring for Rural Women, under Skill Development for Rural Women through Mobile Skill Morung was launched at Wozhuro Headquarter, under Wokha district on the 5th of August 2024 with Savio Visa, Additional Director, Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Nagaland as the special guest.

Speaking on behalf of the Department, Savio Visa encouraged the trainees to take this 14 (fourteen) days training seriously for taking up self-employment as their call and help the range people by starting  their own self-employed tailor shops in the village. He also requested the village council to support logistically and monitor their performance in various capacities as they start their venture. Twenty five (25) trainees from various villages under Wozhuro range enrolled for the said programme.

Village Council Chairman (VCC), Meriyan Village Alow Khuvung gave a short speech on behalf of Wozhuro Range Village Council Union and thanked the Department for bringing this training program to their doorstep and further requested the Department to provide such training to the youths of the range for mitigating the unemployment problem in the range.

Chairman Wozhuro Range Council Union (WRCU), Yanbemo Tungu, while pronouncing the closing remark thanked the Director and the Government of Nagaland and all officials involved in this program and further requested the Department to take up other short-term Skill Development Trainings for the youths of the range.

The program was chaired by Vibeituonuo Rüpre-o, Employment Officer where District Employment Officer, Wokha Atsie Kenneth welcomed the gathering and the Training Partner Skill Alli, Richard briefed on the overview of the Training and its benefits.
