Minister, Housing and Mechanical Engineering, Nagaland, P. Beshangmongba Chang inaugurated the Government Higher Secondary School Hakushang, Tuensang on 13th August 2024.
Chang speaking on the function thanked the Government of Nagaland led by Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio for his timely intervention and unwavering concern for the education advancement of the youth and steadfast support which has been a key instrument in making this upgradation a reality. The Minister also thanked the MLA and Advisor of School Education, Kekhrielhoulie Yhome for his contribution and dedication for the entire process and for emphasizing a quality education in the State.
He also thanked the Chang Wedoshi Setshang (CWS) for their initiative in upgradation of this School. Chang also stated that, this accomplishment would greatly improve the quality of education and perform hugely inspiring the ideas and discussion around to uplift students to greater heights, through healthy competition and provide equal importance academy as well as co- curricular activities. He also exhorted the faculty and students of GHSS, Hakushang to give continuous and timeless effort to make the school shine. Reminding the Teacher, he said Teachers are the pillars of this institution and the future of the students rest in their capable hands.

Highlights of the function were invocation by Lianghoi PGT; Welcome address by Nmyamo Jami, DEO Tuensang; Special Presentation by Class 11 students and vote of thanks by Imkongsenla Sangram, Principal GHSS Hakushang. The programme was chaired by Mhathung Ngullie, EAC (P) Tuensang.
