As part of the nationwide "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign under the "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" initiative, a program was held on 14th August, 2024 at the DC Office Complex, Kohima. The event involved the participation of all officers and staff from within the complex.
Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant addressed the gathering, stating that the entire nation was observing the campaign on this day. He emphasized that holding the national flag is not merely symbolic, but a reaffirmation of duty and patriotism towards the country. "Our presence here today signifies our collective rededication to our nation's service," he remarked.
The event concluded with participants taking the Tiranga Pledge and engaging in a Tiranga Canvas activity, where they inscribed "Har Ghar Tiranga" and "Jai Hind" across the canvas.
