MLA and Chief Guest,  Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhutso hoisted the National flag and delivered the 78th Independence Day speech at the Local Ground Chiephobozou HQ on 15th August 2024

Other major highlights of the programme included a march past by parade contingents of 10th IRB Zhadima; Ex-Servicemen Chiechama; G.H.S.S Chiechama; G.H.S Nerhema Model; D.B.S Chiephobozou (Boys) and D.B.S Chiephobozou (Girls) led by Parade commander, Akummeren Imsong, ABI

The programme witnessed cultural presentation from Gilead School Tuophema; Women Society Tsiesema  and special presentation performed by DIET, Chiechama and GHSS Chiechama 

Exhibition stalls were also put up as part of the programme.
