In a heartwarming display of patriotism and unity, the local population in and around Shokhuvi witnessed a vibrant Flag Rally organised by Assam Rifles Training Centre and School on the historic occasion of the 78th Independence Day, featuring a dynamic cavalcade of Assam Rifles Horses, motorcycles and vehicles driven by the nation's valiant soldiers. The event, coordinated in collaboration with the local civil population, brought together citizens and Assam Rifles personnel in a festive celebration of national pride and unity.

Brigadier Raman Sharma, Sena Medal, Commandant Assam Rifles Training Centre and School who spearheaded the event, expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support from both the soldiers and the local populace. "Today, we celebrate not just the independence of our nation, but also the unity that binds us together. It’s heartening to see such enthusiasm and patriotism from our community. This rally is a testament to our shared commitment to our country and its values."

The rally commenced at Assam Rifles Training Centre and School, Shokhuvi with soldiers leading the procession, proudly bearing the national flag. The convoy was a spectacular sight, showcasing a convoy of vehicles and motorcycles adorned with flags, as they wound their way through the local areas, spreading cheer and patriotic fervor.

The event was meticulously organized, with coordination between Assam Rifles and local authorities ensuring a smooth and safe procession. Spectators lined the streets, many waving smaller flags and cheering enthusiastically as the convoy passed by.
