Tening Town commemorated the 78th Independence Day 2024 at local ground, Tening with Advisor for Labour, Employment & Skill Development and Excise Government of Nagaland, Moatoshi Longkumer gracing the event as the Special Guest on 15th of August. 

The event was marked by hoisting of the national flag by the chief guest followed by Independence Day speech and took Rashtriya salute from the parade contingents.

The celebration featured a cultural dance presented by Tening Town Heraka Council, Drill Display by Jadonang Boy's hostel and inspection of stalls by the Special Guest.
