Tseminyu District celebrated the 78th Independence Day at Rengma Sports Association Ground, Tseminyu with Minister for Women Resource Development & Horticulture, Salhuotuonou Kruse as the special guest. The Minister unfurled the national flag, took Rashtriya Salute from the seven parade contingents and delivered Independence Day speech.

Later the special guest inaugurated exhibition stalls setup by different departments and also inaugurated Static Soil Testing Lab, Sub -divisional office (SC). Folk song by Lakethyu Logwa Tseminyu village and a special number by Runole Tep were the highlights of the day.
