During the 78^th Independence Day Celebration at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza, Kohima on 15^th August, 2024, the National Anthem was presented by Ruzhukhrie Government Higher Secondary School and Dr. Neilhouzhu Kire Govt. Higher Secondary School Seikhazou Kohima.

The two schools secured the 1^st and 2^nd positions during the 1st State Level School choir competition conducted by Samagra Shikha/ School Education in May 2024.

Samagra Shikha/ School Education is implementing Music program for 46 government schools under State Specific Innovation programme in line with New Education policy 2020 to provide art/music integrated Education funded by Ministry of Education, Government of India.
