District Planning & Development Board Tseminyu conducted the monthly District Planning & Development Board meeting under the chairmanship of MLA & chairman DPDB Tseminyu, Ar. Jwenga Seb, at DC’s Conference Hall, Tseminyu on 19th August 2024.
At the meeting, MLA, Ar. Jwenga Seb introduced the proposal for recognition of Rengma river village. The House approved the proposal and decided to forwarded it to the concerned department.
The Board approved the constitution of 2(two) village adoption committees under LADP for the 2024-25, (1). Sewanu village committee with the following members: SDO (Civil) Tseminyu convenor, BDO Chunlikha, DSO Sericulture, DHO horticulture,SMO(H&FW) and KVK as members and (2) Tesophenyu new, committee with the following members: EAC Hq. convenor, BDO Tseminyu, CVO (AH & VS), PDO (Land Resources) and CDPO (social welfare) as members.
The house also approved the Verification Committee under LADP for the Financial Year 2024-25 with the committee members comprising of, EAC Hq. Convenor, BDO Tseminyu and VAS Tseminyu as members.
The house discussed land for construction of Rengma CSO Complex and entrusted the administration for verification. The Board discussed on upgradation of CHC, Tseminyu to 50 bedded multi- speciality District Hospital and decided to forward it to the concerned department. Subject to the submission of pending documents by the applicants, registration of three new societies namely, Kemehai-Zi Society, Thaa Logwa Society and Triumph Foundation, the house decided to discuss it in the next meeting.
The house agreed to have a Legislators Park in Tseminyu Town for which the district administration was requested to identify a suitable land for it. Horticulture Department presented the departmental activities. Presentation of department activity was entrusted to DEO and Food & Civil Supplies for the next DPDB meeting.
