The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Japhet Woch has notified that there is an alarming of rate Dog Bite in Peren Town and informed that the fatality rate of rabies is almost 100%. Therefore, for safety reasons, the Peren Town Council in collaboration with the Veterinary Department will be organising an Anti- Rabies Vaccination drive on 21st August 2024 in Peukwaram, Keletzai, Nsetning, Ndining, and Duiring ward. And on 22nd August 2014, Mdipuiram, Bana, Beilikui and Nkozai ward will be covered.
In this regard, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Peren informed and directed all dog owners in the town to leash their dogs for easy and safe administration of vaccine.
