The Bharat Scouts & Guides (BS&G), Wokha conducted an induction programme of Deputy Commissioner, Vineet Kumar, IAS as the District President Bharat Scouts & Guides (BS&G), Wokha and Sr. SDEO, Z. Chanbemo Kikon as District Secretary BS&G during the induction ceremony held at DC conference hall, Wokha on 23rd August 2024.

DC, Wokha Vineet Kumar, IAS speaking during his induction programme, expressed his appreciation for being a part of this great movement and inducting him as the district president, where he sought the support and co-operation from all the members in order to do good work and continue upholding the name and principle of the institution. He expressed hope that with the support from all, they will be able to strengthen the organisation. He also encouraged the young students who are part of the BS&G to be dedicated, as their participation in BS&G will guide them in becoming a responsible person in future.

The induction of the new district President and Secretary was conducted by Zuchanthung, District Organizing Commissioner (G). The induction programme was chaired by EAC cum District Commissioner (G) Rosy Sangtam. During the programme BS&G of DBHHS presented a special song. The function was chaired by District Training Commissioner (G) K. Abeni Ngullie, while vote of thanks was proposed by IE Co-ordinator cum District Treasurer, T. Ezanthung Lotha.
