The Farewell programme was organised by DPRO staff for the outgoing DPRO, Dimapur, Lolano Patton on 28th August, 2024 at DPRO Office, Dimapur.

During her farewell speech, she stated that during the course of her professional journey, she had worked with 9 DC and today proudly stands and witness that there was not even a single instance, where complaints were received against DPRO office staff during her tenure and all this great accomplishment credit goes to the Staff.

She thanked the staffs for being the backbone behind her leadership, rendering unwavering support with sincerity, dedication, punctuality and meeting every deadline despite the limited resources at their disposal.

She also shared the uncountable memorable moments, especially during the COVID pandemic as a remarkable and challenging tasks performed successfully spending sleepless night at the train station during the arrival of the returnees. Another remarkable was the participation of DPRO Dimapur  team during the district sports meet, winning several medals in women football champion, Tug of war, T.T and badminton. She said that all this was achieved because of the spirit of oneness and unity among the staff.

In conclusion, she encouraged all to continue to work as a team with collective effort and unity overcoming challenges and celebrate achievements together. She thanked everyone for the memories and for the friendship that will last for a life time.

Speaking on behalf of the DPRO Staff, Vihepu, IA, Niuland highlighted the positive qualities of the outgoing DPRO and said that her work ethics is truly inspirational. He wished her good health and success in her new assignment.

The program was chaired by I. Tiakumla Ao, IA, Dimapur and Invocation prayer was pronounced by Loretha. The program concluded with a prayer by Asemo.
