To support the initiative launched by the Prime Minister- “Plant4Mother” or “EK Ped Ma Ke Nam” which aims to contribute towards environmental sustainability, a plantation campaign was conducted on 31st August 2024 at New Deputy Commissioner’s office site, Wokha from 7:00 AM.

The plantation drive was led by the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Vineet Kumar, IAS accompanied by District Forest Officer, Wokha, Staff from District Forest Office (DFO), District Welfare Office (DWO), AE, CAWD and all DC Office staff took part in the plantation drive. More than three hundred (300) different kinds of saplings were planted during the day.
