The month long celebration of Poshan Maah beginning from 1st September to 30th September 2024 was launched at Jakhama ICDS Project by the department of Social Welfare on 2nd September 2024 at CDPO office premises, Jakhama, Kohima with SDO Civil, Jakhama, Nockpai Konyak gracing the occasion as special guest.

During the event, Konyak commented on the efforts put forward by the ICDS Project Jakhama in implementing the activities of Poshan Maah programs within the Sub-Division successfully. He encouraged the Anganwadi Workers to familiarize themselves with the objectives of the Poshan Maah program.

CDPO Jakhama, Zubemo Jami in his welcome address pointed out the importance of the nationwide awareness programmes on Pashan Maah.

The program was conducted by Supervisor ICDS, Jakhama, Neitsilie Nakhru while Tabunuo Mere SAA invoked God's blessings. Block Co-ordinator Kikrukhrielie Nagi led the Poshan Pledge and Kenipheno LDA delivered the vote of thanks.
