Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, NCS conducted an inspection of the Dimapur railway station along with representatives from the Dimapur Police Commissionerate on 2nd September 2024.

During the visit, they held a meeting with the Railway Protection Force (RPF) to discuss security measures.

As part of the security enhancement, three police checkpoints have been established at all the exit points of the railway station. These checkpoints will operate 24/7, with officers stationed to verify the identities of incoming passengers. The move aims to bolster safety and maintain law and order in Dimapur.
