Government Middle School, Leirie Chazou (Aradhura), Kohima celebrated Pre-Teachers’ Day 2024 on 4th September 2024 at the school premises. 

Thejangulie Kirha, Head Teacher, delivering the keynote address highlighted the significance of Teachers’ Day Celebration and expressed gratitude to the teaching faculty for the constant love and support rendered throughout the year. He urged the teachers to rededicate themselves to the profession and work for the welfare and upliftment of the students as well as the school.

The Vice Chairman SMC, Megoviko Mor, delivered the exhortation speech while emphasising that teachers continue to remain underappreciated, and lauded the teachers for their unwavering dedication, and motivated them to continue doing the same. He also urged the students to learn all the good things from their surroundings and reminding them that the things they learn today will determine the person they become tomorrow.

Earlier, the Programme was chaired by Ningmo of Class-7, the program begin with the invocation by Wangying of class-8 and  Lolam of Class-7 delivered the speech on behalf of the students.  Tonatoli of Class 3 recited an ode to teachers while Hamshen of Class-8 proposed the benediction.
