Combined Tseminyu District Teacher's Day celebration cum Teacher's Award 2024 was
held on 5th September 2024 at Baptist Higher Secondary School Auditorium hall, Tseminyu
with SDO (civil), Tsidi as the special guest.
On the occasion, he thanked all the Teachers for their tireless efforts in imparting
knowledge and shaping the future of the students, and added that a pen can change the world.
Speaking on the significance of Teachers day, Kegwayhun Tep said the teachers are undoubtedly
the backbone of the society and played a big role in building the character of students.
Teachers Award & Citation 2024 was awarded to Hitilo Kath, G.T (Science) GHSS,
Tseminyu. Welcome address was proposed by Hechulo Semy, principal GHSS, Tseminyu while
words of gratitude was delivered by K. Munenle Tep AHM, Government High School,
Tseminyu. The highlights of the program were special songs performed by DBS Tseminyu,
group song by GHSS Tseminyu and tribute to my teachers’ miracle by Khenlo G. Seb &
Nyizanih Apon. Akenyu and Aninkelo Kent were the comperes the programme.
