Tuensang District Planning & Development Board meeting for the month of September was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Vice- Chairman (DPDB), Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa at DC conference hall on 7th September 2024.

After reviewing the last meeting minutes, the board discussed the agenda for Dr T. Ao Trophy cum- social work on 13th September. Thsapong Sangtam DWO & member secretary Planning Committee, Dr. T. Ao Trophy presented a brief report of the overall preparation for the event. Later the DC requested all the members of the DPDB to co-operate and support for the success of the tournament, and also make the tournament a memorable one as the tournament is going to be hosted in Eastern Nagaland for the first time.

The Board recommended the establishment of the Multi-Disciplinary Institute at Sao Chang College, Tuensang, and also approved and constituted the Verification Committee for LADP 2024. Departmental activities were presented by Soil and Water Conservation. The board also welcomed new members posted under the district.
