Valedictory Function on Awareness Campaign on National Clean Air Programme organised by the District Administration, Dimapur in Collaboration with Livingstone Foundation Society & Breeze Women Welfare Association (BWWA) was held at Livingstone Foundation International, Dimapur with Thungchanbemo Tungoe, CEO, DMC as the special guest on 9th of September 2024 under the Theme: ‘Celebrating International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies'.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, Zakabo Rotokha in his speech informed that, Dimapur rank the highest in Nagaland with unclean Air Pollution and said, to make improvement on the unclean Air, we all must work hand in hand to provided clean Air quality by planting more trees to achieve the objectives of the programme and to practice what they have learn from the programme. 

Thungchanbemo Tungoe in his speech asserted that people breathe 9 to 10 unclean air every day and 9 lakhs of children dies every year. He noted that we neglect what is happening around the world, so we breathe polluted and unclean Air. He also urged the students to give important to air pollution and put their effort to make a cleaner Air by planting more trees at schools and home. He also appealed to the gathering to be more practical in our duties and responsibilities for a better future in the upcoming years. He also reminded the students to make use of bicycles, cloths, bag while going to the market and to turn off the electricity went not in use. 

This programme was followed by closing remarks from Imlijungla Lemtur, EAC Dimapur; Invocation by Zhimoholi S. Zhimomi, Chaplain, LFI; Special number by Ravineizo Rio, LFI and declaration of the Inter-School Competition on Essay writing. 

Liniu Achumi (Grade-8) of Charis High Academy begged 1st position in essay competitions and Tolivi K. Wotsa (Grade 12) Assembly of God Higher Secondary School begged 1st position in Slogan writing competition, while the Poster Making Competition was bagged by Etoka (Grade 12) of Cornerstone Hr. Secondary School. Model Exhibition Competition was bagged by Bethesda Higher Secondary School, Dimapur.
