The Deputy Commissioner of Chumoukedima, Polan John has issued a circular directing all to participate in the mass social work to be held on 25th October 2024 starting at 7.00 am. The initiative mandates clearing building materials, removing waste from latrines and pigsties, setting up proper signboards, and maintaining road sanitation. Villages along highways are instructed to clean vegetation and dividers, while all educational institutions are required to participate.
The Urban Development Department will oversee the clean up and proper waste disposal. This drive aims to improve public hygiene and cleanliness across the region.
