The four member team of the 16^th Finance Commission comprised of Dr. Arvind Panagariya, Chairman, Ajay Narayan Jha, Member, Annie George Mathew, Member and Dr. Manoj Panda, Member arrived Dimapur, Nagaland on 4^th November 2024. The team were received by Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister, Y. Patton and other officials at Dimapur Airport on their arrival. They are on a three-day visit to Nagaland. The team will be accompanied by a host of officials from the Finance Commission.

The 16^th Finance Commission will be attending a series of meetings with the State Government and various other stakeholders of the State on the 5th of November 2024. The team will also be making field visits to various sites of historical importance in and around the State Capital on the 6^th of November.
