Deputy Commissioner, Kohima Kumar Ramnikant IAS has informed that a Mass Social Work shall be conducted in all parts of Kohima on 22nd Nov, 2024 (Friday) from 6:00 AM onwards in order to clean/clear all roads and drains in Kohima.

It shall involve all Government Offices in Kohima along with the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) and Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industries (KCCI) Kohima. (Details of work distribution as notified by the Home Department).

In this regard, all citizens of Kohima shall involve in the cleaning of the respective Wards. (In-charge: Respective Ward Councillors)

KCCI shall ensure cleaning, whitewashing, decoration/beautification of all shops/business establishments, besides the allotted stretch of road for cleaning. (In-charge: President, KCCI)

All concerned offices, departments, organizations and citizens of Kohima, have been requested to cooperate and actively participate in the Social Work.
