Pughoboto SDPDB conducted its first meeting for 2025 on Tuesday, 7th January 2025 alongside the Doyang River at Kitami village. The meeting was chaired by MLA & Chairman SDPDB Dr. Sukhato A. Sema and co-chaired by ADC & Vice Chairman SDPDB, Tiameren Chang.
The SDPDB primarily discussed work distribution for the Republic Day 2025 celebration. The board also discussed construction of multi- purpose farmer road from Amishi-Kiki to Hane River which will serve the interests of Kitami village as well as the adjoining villages under Pughoboto subdivision.
SDO PHED, Er. Yekiho presented a presentation on the Status of Jal Jeevan Mission and Swaach Bharat Mission at Pughoboto subdivision. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks from SDPO Hankiumong.
After the SDPDB meeting, a Secondary Storage Structure under PMKSY- PDMC 2024-25 was also inaugurated at Kitami village, Pughoboto subdivision.
With the vision of extending the coverage of irrigation ‘Har Khet ko pani’ and improving water use efficiency under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY), MLA, Dr. Sukhato A Sema inaugurated the Secondary Storage Structure under PMKSY-PDMC 2024-25 at Kitami Village under Zunheboto District in the presence of ADC Pughoboto, Tiameren Chang and SDAO Kitoho Michael Swu on 7th January 2025.
