The monthly DPDB meeting of Tseminyu was held on 21st January 2025 at DC’s Conference Hall under the chairmanship of MLA & Chairman DPDB Tseminyu, Jwenga Seb. The meeting was presided by DC & vice-chairman DPDB, Tseminyu Rohit Singh (IAS).

The chairman welcomed the board members and newly posted officials in the district and requested the new officers for self-introduction. Mhathung Ngullie EAC, Celina Thal, BDO and Christopher Chale, STO made their self-introduction.

The meeting commenced with review of previous meeting minutes, where the board discussed proposal of acquisition of 500 acres of land for establishment of government departments under Tseminyu District and set up a committee headed by DC, EAC and Rengma Hoho President.

In connection with scarcity of water supply in the district, the board discussed for construction of Check Dams at various places in the district. The KVK and Social welfare departments presented their various departmental activities and achievements initiated in the district. The Department of veterinary and Animal Husbandry Services will present their departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting.
