The Directorate of Food & Civil Supplies has informed that as per the directive of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Department of Food & Public Distribution, Government of India, all AAY & PHH beneficiaries availing food grains under the National Food Security Act, 2013, are required to submit their mobile numbers at their respective Fair Price Shops / District Offices for updating in the Ration Card Management System (RCMS) Portal

Further, beneficiaries who have not yet linked their Aadhaar to ration card or not completed their e-KYC status are hereby informed to do so at the earliest. Failure to complete this process of linking mobile numbers, performing eKYC and linking Aadhaar numbers with their respective ration cards will result in deletion of ration card (s) and subsequent curtailment of their food grain entitlement from the Ration Cards.

The deadline for completing all the exercises is 31st March 2025. In this regard, directives have been issued to all the District Food & Civil Supplies Offices and all Fair Price Shops to coordinate with beneficiaries to ensure timely completion of the process within the stipulated time.
