Governor La Ganesan visited Tening on March 20, 2025, for a series of events, including the inauguration of the newly constructed Jadonang Boys Hostel at Zeliangrong Heraka School. In the presence of MLA Namri Nchang and Advisor Keoshu Yimkhiung, he unveiled the commemorative plaque of the hostel. Speaking at the inauguration program at Town Hall, he emphasized the importance of quality education and infrastructure for students. During his visit, the Governor also flagged off the Zeliangrong Heraka School Bus, marking another milestone in enhancing educational facilities in the region.
