With a view to ensure greater coordination among all the Government Offices in the Sub-division, a meeting of all the Heads of Offices under Jalukie Sub-division was held at DB's Court, ADC Office, Jalukie on 13th May, 2025 to discuss on various matters concerning to the Sub-division. The meeting was convened and chaired by ADC Jalukie, Albert Ezung.

Initiating the meeting, ADC delivered the welcome address and self introduction by the members present. The ADC extended his sincere thanks to all the officers for making out their time in attending the meeting sincerely.

He informed the house regarding the scheduled visit of Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Government of India, Shivraj Singh Chouhan to the College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Jalukie under Peren district on 15th May, 2025 for inauguration ceremony of Administrative-cum-Academic Block & Farmers Fair, 2025. Further, Albert also informed that the inauguration ceremony will also be attended by Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan and Dy. CM of Nagaland, T.R. Zeliang, therefore he requested the Heads of Offices to attend the programme positively.

The key agenda discussed during the meeting was issue of Government land encroachment in the sub-division. Several Head of Offices highlighted the land encroachment issue faced by their respective departments. In this regard, ADC pointed out that, it is the responsibility of the concerned department Officers to safeguard and protect their respective department’s land from outside party or encroachers. He also directed all those departments who have no land patta/permit to obtain the same, and any cases of encroachment must be reported to the District Administration.

In his concluding remarks, Albert solicited the support and cooperation from all the Heads of Offices under Jalukie Sub-division and encouraged them to be mindful of their responsibilities while giving their services to the people. We are here to serve the public and our absence shall not be an inconvenience to them, he added. Therefore, he urged them to be regular in their offices and be sincere in discharging their duties. Further, he requested all those departments implementing the Centrally Sponsored Schemes to give wide information to the public regarding the benefits of the schemes.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from the chair.
