Along with the rest of the world, Schools under Chessore area and Self Employed Women Association (SEWA) Chessore unit 1 to 5 observed World Environment Day on 5th June 2025.
SEWA unit -4 under the leadership of Rokkila Wungtong, takes initiative of planting various flowers along the pathway, office and clearing weeds at SDO (C) office compound, while the unit -5 planted saplings and flowers near Lighthouse campus, Chessore. The Unit 1-3 took initiative in Chessore village by plantation drive.
St. Christopher School, Chessore village and GMS Y. Anner also observed World Environment Day under the theme "Ending Plastic Use" and organised mass social work by planting Flowers, Fruit trees around the school campuses.
