A 15 days long awareness and benefit saturation campaign under the Ministry of Tribal Welfare was launched at Old Town Hall, Tening on 16th June 2025
Additional Deputy Commissioner, K. Furhesie Nyuwi briefed the line department on DAA, stating that the campaign aims to raise awareness, organise saturation camps and provide essential government services to eligible citizens.
Key services to be provided during the ongoing 15-day DDA campaign included Aadhaar registration, registration under PM Kishan, KCC, MNREGA and the old-age pension scheme, PMMVY, PMJJBY, PMJDY, and other government schemes for the benefit of all villages in Tening Subdivision.
The initiative is part of the ongoing effort to empower rural communities and ensure equal access to government services for everyone.
Representatives from all government departments, Tening Town Councils, and village councils from Tening subdivision attended the event.
