Nino Iralu was sworn in as the new Lokayukta of Nagaland at a program held at the conference hall, Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima on 16th June 2025.
Nino Iralu succeeds, Banuo Z Jamir, former Chief Secretary of Nagaland, who completed her five-year term as Lokayukta, Nagaland.
Chief Secretary, Dr. J Alam IAS administered the ‘oath of office’ and Home Commissioner, Anoop Khinchi, IAS initiated the official proceedings. Among those present during the occasion included senior officials, officers and staffs of Lokayukta, well wishers and family members.
