In pursuance of directives received from Ministry of Tribal Affairs (TRI & Media Division), GoI and as part of the Dharti Aaba- Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyaan, awareness cum saturation camps was conducted in Seithekema Block under Chumoukedima district, headed by officer in charge, Er. Seyiekhrietuo Solo, EAC, Seithekema, on 20th June, 2025.
During the opening remarks, SDO(C), Chumoukedima, Chumben Murry, stated that this DAJGUA is a flagship campaign by the GoI, basically to create awareness and achieve saturation-100% saturation of eligible beneficiaries in all government run schemes, especially concentrated in tribal areas, to achieve the holistic all round development and empowerment of tribal regions. He said that the role of line department as well as community is equally important with the responsibility of the line department is to facilitate the eligible beneficiary highlighting on the schemes and benefits and enrolling them. Similarly, responsibility of the community is to mobilize the campaign to their community members to take advantage of this camp.
He requested the line department and community members to have one synergy and work together, than this campaign will surely be a grand success in their respective district. Further, he appreciated the EAC, HQ, Seithekema for organising this program and was hopeful that the arrangement done to facilitate the beneficiary will take advantage of this camp to bridge infrastructure and Socio- economic gaps in their respective district.
Er. Seyiekhrietuo Solo, EAC in his welcome address thanked the authorities, officers from various departments, chairman, VDB authorities and the public for their presence. He mentioned that different stalls are open for beneficiary, so requested village authorities to guide the village if they face any difficulties and let them avail the benefits. Also informed the public that this opportunity is not only to avail services but also trying to know more about what each department provides with different schemes and what are the future benefits available.
Village cover under administrative block of Seithekema were- Thilixu; Kirha; Chekiye; Diphupar B; Sovima; Naga United; Sodzulhou; kozabe (7th Mile ); Tenyiphe II; New Seithekema; Seithekema C; Tsethrongse; Bade; Diezephe; Murise; Vidima. The awareness services highlighted during the camp were on - AADHAR Camp; PMMVY; IGNOAPS; Widow Pension; Ayushman - CMHIS; Mission Indradhanush; PM Jan Dhan Yojana; MGNREGA; CMLIS Registration; CMMFI; PM-Kisan; Ration Card (NFSA); PMSBY; PMJJBY; TB Mukt Bharat; Mudra Yojana; PM Vishwakarma. At the end of the program the villagers availed the services by submitting their respective documents with passport size photographs, Birth certificate, Residential proof, and Bank passbook.
