A Distribution of Tools and Equipments Programme was organised by the Nagaland Beekeeping & Honey Mission (NBHM) under the Pradhan Mantri Van Dhan Yojana (PMVDY) at Meluri Village Council Hall on 24th June 2025.
Advisor for N&RE and NSDMA, Z. Nyusietho Nyuthe, as a special guest, encouraged the beneficiaries to be more dedicated in their endeavour as beekeeping is an important avenue for sustainable livelihood. He urged the Van Dhan Vikas Kendra (VDVK) cluster members to live up to its name "RAPHALUO" by catching up with the times for progress and prosperity.
Chairman NBHM, Obed Quinker, as the guest of honour advised the gathering to harness the value of forest produce for a sustainable livelihood.
Earlier, Village Council Chairman, Meluri, Tsirütho Pochury, delivered the welcome speech while Chairman of RAPHALUO VDVK, Riepetho Nyuwi chaired the programme.
The programme was attended by DC Meluri, K Mhathung Tsanglao, NCS, officials from NBHM and VDVK members. Tools and equipments were distributed to around ten SHGs of RAPHALUO, VDVK Cluster during the programme.
