Along with the rest of the Country, Tuensang observed Samvidhaan Hatya Diwas on 25th June 2025 at the DC Conference Hall, Tuensang.

            Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa in her short speech says that, 'Samvidhaan Hatya Diwas ' is being observed to commemorate honour those who opposed and fought against the injustice during the Emergency imposed by the then Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi in the year 1975 and by observing Samvidhaan Hatya Diwas all over India will serve as a reminder of the time when the Constitution of India was trampled over.

            In the programme, short speeches were by delivered by Er. Vinoh Swu EAC (P) and ARO, DCO Tuensang, Khumeng T. Vote of thanks was delivered by Kihomong Yimchunger SDO (C) Tuensangand and the programme was chaired by Lumchongli K. Sangtam.
