The National Conference of the Estimates Committee of Parliament and State/UT Legislative Bodies was held on 23rd and 24th June, 2025, at Vidhan Bhawan Maharashtra, Mumbai. It was the Conference of the Chairpersons of the Committee on Estimates and State Legislatures to mark the 75th Anniversary of the Committee on Estimates.
Distinguished Members of the Committee on Estimates, Nagaland Legislative Assembly were Advisor for Soil & Water Conservation and IPR & Chairman, Committee on Estimates, Imkong L. Imchen; Advisor for Youth Resources & Sport, S. Keoshu Yimchunger (Member) and MLA, Dr. Sukhato A. Sema, Member, along with the Secretary-in-Charge and accompanying officers representing the Nagaland Legislative Assembly actively participated in the event.
During the Conference, discussions were held on various crucial matters regarding the Committee on Estimates which serves as the Watchdog over the functioning of the Government Departments, ensuring accountability and transparency in governance.
