The closing ceremony for the 4th Mungmung Festival Open football tournament was organized by Angangba Village Council on 2nd September 2025 at Angangba Public ground with the EAC, Longkhim, S. Chingmei as the special guest.
Addressing the public gathering Chingmei lauded the organizing committee for organizing this event and extended Mungmung greetings to all present.
Chingmei also appreciated the efforts of Angangba Baptist Church, Village Council, Women Society, Students' body and Youth for sponsoring Rehabilitation of individuals with addiction problems, and she encourage the gathering to continuously support of the community for better Society and to move forward. She further urged the gathering to remove the tag of Longkhim as drug hub and to strive for a progressive society. While encouraging the footballers, she said that there is no short cut to success but it takes years of hard works and sacrifices to become a good footballer.
The tournament champion was bagged by Rohzi FC scroring 3- 2 goals and placed in the second position was Tsungzi Fc.
Earlier, short speech was delivered by 2nd HD.Gb, Limameren. The welcome address was delivered by Trophy Chairman, Hotingkyu while it was chaired by Trovila T Anar.
